We arrived safely in Steinhatchee around 3:30 pm, welcomed by a flock of sentinel seagulls perched atop a green navigational beacon in the channel. Fun fact: The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service states that a flock of seagulls is actually called a colony and technically there is no such thing as a seagull -- it's just a gull. Jonathan Livingston might disagree...
