Monday morning, February 21, Adagio and Perdido friends on MV Classea departed Nassau Harbor for Highborne Cay, the gateway to the Bahamas' beautiful Exuma islands. Our weather apps forecast seas of 3-4 foot waves and winds of 15-20 mph, slightly over our normal rule of 1-3 feet and 15 mph. But we felt we could make it since the distance was only about 40 miles or 5 hours by trawler. We couldn't have been more wrong.....
After about an hour and a half of rocking and rolling with chairs, tables and other loose items sliding across the salon and sundeck, Charles turned to me and said, "I'm not having fun and I want to turn back." And so we did. Now we are back at Atlantis until the next weather window on Sunday when we hope to return to Bimini and Fort Lauderdale. If one has to be "stuck," this is not a bad place, although it is beginning to feel a bit like the Bermuda Triangle.

Those Enneagram 7s really come in handy when it comes to naming what is and isn't fun. Good call, Charles!
