We attended Easter services at historic Pohick Church in Lorton, VA, just south of Mount Vernon, George Washington's home. Built in 1774, early members of the church included George Mason, George William Fairfax, and Washington, in whose family pew we happened to be seated. The church and service were beautiful in their colonial simplicity, and we enjoyed the choir and sharing in the baptisms of five little ones.
