Anchored our last night out in a wide bay with pristine gravel shores so perfect they could only have been built by the Corps of Engineers, we were greeted the next morning with a beautiful sunrise breaking over the treeline on Cockburn Island in the North Channel. "His mercies are new every morning" came to mind as I had my coffee on the back deck. Four hours later, we entered US waters and cleared customs via CBP-Rome, a website that processes boaters entering the USA from foreign waters. It was great to be back, and we look forward to spending a couple of weeks at home meeting our new granddaughter who will arrive soon.
