The Perfect Boat

After searching the east coast, Florida, and the Gulf Coast, we finally found THE boat in Pass Christian, Mississippi. A 42-foot trawler, she was docked at a marina just across the highway from the beach house of friends Tish and Haden Hughes from Jackson. The Hughes happened to be on the coast when we called to tell them we were coming to see the boat, and they met us at the marina. The four of us toured the boat, tested the beds and heads, and agreed that it had potential. Two weeks later, she was ours.
